Widows Sons Worcestershire Chapter WSMBA and Worcestershire Pear Drops, finally got to present the blood bike at Prescott Bike Festival, raised through the chapters fundraising. In June 2023 the chapter decided to make Severn freewheelers our charity of the year and set an ambitious target of raising enough for a new bike during the next 12 months.
Amazingly we did this in just 8 months! supported by donations from Worcestershire province and the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF), but the majority by the chapter members and by members giving lodge talks who all gave generously we raised the amount of £20,000 for a new bike.
A proud moment as president, and fantastic achievement by the chapter now in its 3rd year.
